I love the Christmas time! And, yes, I am the person who will be listening to Christmas music months before Christmas and also any time of the year if I feel like it. Jesus is the reason for the season but He is also the reason for every season and I love thinking about Him coming and loving us so deeply. The Father loved sooo much He gave. He gave the gift we could never earn, we just get to say “yes” to His gift and receive the life changing Man who came for us. I love Christmas! I also love the beginnings of new things. Every year is a gift of God to start again. He built seasons and cycles into creation and into life. And I am thankful for these New Year beginnings! I am hoping that your New Year is full of His blessings and increase and also full of Him and His fulfillment!
Our students who are helping us reach Missionaries all over the world! This is such a great team of students that are so hungry to follow God and bring other’s into encountering our loving Father. This year I am excited to see where God takes us as we are already off to an amazing start. I have been teaching these students and we just had a few weeks of online sessions ministering to missionaries. Our guests have been so grateful and touched by God’s presence and also by the love of God pouring through the students. One of our guest missionaries let us know that before the session she wasn’t sure she was where God wanted her and she felt like she wasn’t sure if she was meant to be on the field where she was. And she shared with us that after this ministry time she felt so encouraged that God had her in the right place and she felt so much hope for what God was doing! Thank You Jesus!
I am getting to grow in community here in NY. Here is a lovely group of ladies I had the fun of being in a book club time together this past month. It was Pride and Prejudice time… that’s right up my alley. 😁 I’m growing week by week in connection with the amazing people here. And in the church here. I am also serving on the prayer ministry team on Sundays and praying about how God wants Brian and I to step into more. God has given us such favor with the Pastors and leaders of the church that I am truly grateful for what God is doing in me and what He is welcoming me in to in this community.
And a new adventure has also been had the month of December. My husband’s son, Timmy, shot his first Buck and we had some of the meat a week later. It was soooo gourmet and good! I was very impressed!
We also got to have this deer for our Christmas feast! It was so fun to have the opportunity to celebrate his accomplishment in this way together as we had Brian’s parents and Gramps over for Christmas lunch!
I also had another adventure at the end of November. My jeep was hit and totaled… I was completely physically good. But the Jeep that has been off roading with me and across the country met its end. No less it was in a Walmart parking lot 🤷🏻♀️ The Jeep was hit just right to bend the frame pretty substantially.
Brian and I are praying through what kind of vehicle and when to get another one. So, sharing at times his truck for now. It was sad to see this one go but thankful for what has been and what will be. And thankful no one was hurt!
My husband Brian and I have been offered the opportunities to go on two Missions trips this month and next. Currently we are asking God for clarity on which trip to go on and which He has for us, as with our family schedule we aren’t able to go on both. The first trip opportunity is to Romania with my team, going and ministering through worship and prayer and individual ministry at our Arise Global’s Kingdom Culture and Personal Revival school. The other trip is to a closed country in East Asia. In this trip we would be ministering to our students in our Asia school and also having some gatherings for locals to minister to them as well. We have seen God providing financial resources for a trip! Currently we have $2,722 but will need another $2,000 for one of these trips alone. Please pray with us for clarity and also for the full provision of God to be poured out. And for blessing on all those who have and will give!
As the month of January commences and also ends I will be officially handing over my full responsibilities of the Missionary Encounters Online to my Co-worker. I have been building and leading this ministry for the past 4.5 years and we have seen God do so much in the Missionaries and also in the students we train to do this ministry with us! Sooo thankful for all God has done! But as my focus is needed more fully on our ministry in Asia we have recognized the need for me to train another leader and hand over this Missionary ministry. I am excited about the future of the Missionary Ministry and also the Asia school and I believe this will be a very important transition.
Thank you for following what God is doing through me and also for partnering with me in prayer, encouragement and finances! I know God is moving through your generosity!
